Congratulations, Clark County, IL!

Now a Homeschool Sanctuary County!

Our Work & GOALS

International Alliance for Freedom in Home Education equips individuals, families, and churches to strengthen and protect home education freedoms within their local communities.

We Provide

  • Free Consultations and County Analysis
  • A Customized Strategy for developing your grassroots network and a plan to promote and protect homeschool freedoms in your County
  • Training to equip your group for implementing the strategy
  • Customized templates specific to your County that can include Resolution drafts, Letters of appeal for help from your officials, and action checklists, etc.
  • Tools and Resources to facilitate working relationships with local churches and county officials that include things like information packets, official letters, example resolutions, and talking points
  • Coaching via phone and Zoom meetings to guide you as you implement your custom strategy
  • A platform for private networking for your County that can be joined by referral only and that is outside of mainstream platforms so as to secure and protect members
  • Help for homeschool groups that want to organize "Community Education Resource Centers" through their local churches in order to:
    1. Facilitate community outreach to public schooled children and families
    2. Provide homeschool families with classroom space, sports facilities, science laboratories, libraries, etc. to help them in their home learning goals
    3. Provide "extra" institutional protections for homeschool families who might have their freedoms challenged by bad laws or unfriendly officials
  • Help homeschool groups find and appoint a "Homeschool Family Liaison" for their County. The Liaison's purpose is to:
    1. Be the face of home educators to their local communities
    2. Be a mediator between the local homeschool community and public officials
    3. Promote systems of self-government for homeschool families by being aware of the homeschooling families in their community and to encourage, support, and protect them in their practice
    4. Coordinate with local churches to encourage them to become Community Education Resource Centers and/or Micro Schools

Our Goals

  • We want to see County Homeschool Networks and grassroots action in every county across the United States.
  • We want to help local homeschool groups build flourishing networks within their counties so they can support and protect one another in the face of any persecution that may come.
  • We want to see every County in the United States pass Resolutions that codify home education freedoms and the family's right to home educate their children as God-given, fundamental, and unalienable.
  • We want to equip home educators with understanding of truths, principles, and rights that empower them with the knowledge to defend their freedoms and protect their children.
  • We want to see Churches across the nation craft a vision for supporting their communities by becoming learning resource centers and places of refuge for homeschool families.
